Event Description:
Medicare Open Enrollment begins October 15th and ends December 7th.  Your Aging and Disability Resource Center's State Health Insurance Assistant Program (SHIP) will be available to help you at a free event: 
  • Understand your Medicare benefits
  • Determine which Part D plan best fits your needs
  • Enroll in a plan of your choice
  • File a medicare claim or appeal
  • Answer questions about your health insurance

Don't miss the opportunity to attend this free event near you at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, Regional Life Center, 405 West Battle Street in Talladega on November 13th or at J. Craig Community Center, 2 West 8th Street in Sylacauga on December 3rd.  No appointment needed.  First come, first served.  Bring your Medicare card and a list of your current medications with dosage and strength.
