Event Description:
SUNDAY, August 21 The 4th Annual Afternoon of Praise benefitting The Red Door Kitchen and The Samaritan House at The Historic Talladega Ritz Theatre, 115 Court Square North, Talladega, AL 35160. Dove Award nominee Richard Kingsmore will direct nearly 100 talented singers and musicians from Talladega and throughout North Central Alabama as they perform soul-stirring contemporary Christian classics and Southern gospel favorites to praise God and raise funds and food for two 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations that provide for those in need. Music begins at 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm. Admission is a $15 tax deductible ticket donation + a bag of non-perishable food items. All proceeds go directly to The Red Door Kitchen and The Samaritan House. Tickets may be purchased from AOP singers and musicians, at First United Methodist Church of Talladega, or by calling The Ritz Theatre at 256-315-0000.
