Event Description:
In conjunction with Talladega’s Main Street Alabama Kickoff on Saturday, July 9, 2022, residents are invited to a 10 a.m. Community Forum at Talladega Bottling Works. Highlights will include a panel discussion and presentation on Main Street, which will be followed by Second Saturday Main Street Kickoff festivities from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Submit questions for panelists to msood@talladega.com.
Highlights:
1. The Broadway musical Grease produced by the Arc of North Talladega County will be performed at Talladega’s Historic Ritz Theater. The Prelude Block Party in Front of the Ritz Theater will start at 5pm with Classic Cars, 50's Music, and concessions from Pop the Top Soda Shop.
2. A Food Truck Fest, 11 am - 7 pm, will include Sea Life Food Truck, Big Boy Wings, Ken's Express, Black Top Bistro, Kristie's Classics, and more!
3. The Main Street Market, 11 am - 7 pm, will feature arts, crafts, and food vendors.
4. King's Seat Cornhole Tournament, 11 am - 7 pm, at the Old Standard Furniture Building, 200 West Battle Street.
5. Activities at Miss April's Workshop on Talladega's Square. Sign up kids in advance for a day in Miss April's Workshop.
6. Live music at the Talladega Bottling Works:
