Event Description:
The United Way of North Talladega County (UWNTC) is a volunteer organization that works to improve
the overall quality of life of individuals and families by reviewing, aiding programs and services that help
advance education, income stability, and healthy living.
The United Way of North Talladega County is hosting a Day of Giving on Saturday, March 14, 2020 from
8:30 AM-1:00 PM. A Day of Giving is about volunteers serving the community through acts of service.
We will solicit projects from our partnering agencies, agencies, and community members. The UWNTC
will assign volunteers to projects. All projects will be completed on the Day of Giving.
Your organization can help us by providing funds in the form of a grant or by donating goods and
services. The UWNTC is a 501 c3 corporation so all donations can be tax deductions.
Volunteers need to sign-up by texting UWNTC to 77222.
The United Way of North Talladega County is hosting a Build Day on Saturday, May 16, 2020, from 8:30-
11:30 AM. We will build beds for 20 children in our area that either sleep on the floor, on a couch or
have to share a bed. The cost of each bed is $175.00. Our goal is to complete twenty beds which will
cost $3500.
If you would like to donate to Build Day, make checks payable to United Way of North Talladega County
and designate for Build Day.
