Event Description:
Talladega Superspeedway, NASCAR's Most Competitive track, plays hosts to the fred's 250 Powered by Coca-Cola, the elimination race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Chase where the field of championship contenders will be reduced from eight to six. Timothy Peters will go for his record third straight triumph in the event. In addition, the day will feature Food Land/Food Giant qualifying for the Alabama 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race as well as time trials for the fred's 250 event.
