Event Description:
The Open Art Studio class for adults provides the opportunity for art enthusiasts to work on their own drawings and/or paintings, with the media of their choice.
Dr. Art Bacon will be teaching in a workshop setting with individualized coaching. As he paints, he will demonstrate and articulate technique and methods. Students will be encouraged to interact, ask questions and work on their paintings in a casual atmosphere. During the sessions, Dr. Bacon will alternatively be coaching and critiquing with each student one on one and in small groups, based on the needs of the students.
Each student is responsible for bringing his or her materials and media. If desired, they can be stored between scheduled sessions at the museum. Easels will be provided, if acrylics are the media of choice, we will be glad to share our supply.
