Event Description:
The 2016 Christmas Parade is just around the corner and we are looking for your help. The parade is scheduled for Monday, December 5th, 2016 at 6:00 pm. This year's parade route and lineup will be announced by Tuesday, November 22nd. We anticipate this year’s parade to be another outstanding event.
If you would like to participate in this year's parade, please complete the following forms and return them to the Chamber of Commerce office or email them to mwhite@talladegalincolnchamber.com
Professional Floats
The Committee is beginning the sale of Professional Christmas Floats. Please join us by purchasing one of the twenty professional floats available for $400.00 ($380.00 if you purchased a float last year). This fee includes signs with your business name(s) which will be used in future parades.
Half-sponsorships are available this year for $225. This fee includes one sign with the name of your business which will be used in future parades. If you would like to purchase a half-sponsorship, you will share a float with another business the Parade Committee has selected for you to partner with.
If you would like to simply sponsor a float, we can provide a driver, as well as riders from different schools, clubs and organizations. However, if you would like to include your own employees, family members, etc., you will be responsible for providing a truck, car, SUV or tractor to pull the float.
Complete the PROFESSIONAL FLOAT ENTRY FORM and return it to me via email, kbrewer@firstbankal.com, fax, 256-761-2202, or mail, First Bank of Alabama, Attn: Kim Brewer, P.O. Box 797, Talladega, Alabama 35161, by Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016 to secure your professionally-decorated float.
Businesses are welcome to enter and design their own floats in the parade. Any non-professional floats will be judged on creativity and Christmas spirit with several prizes being awarded after the parade.
