Talladega Main Street Meeting, Main Street Alabama Training March 14 & 15th, 2023

Hello! I am Cathy Roehrig your new Executive Director of Talladega Main Street. This is your invitation to join the Talladega Main Street in moving the Talladega Downtown District forward. Below are four opportunities to support our efforts to revitalize the area. Pick 1 Committee. Register below at the email link and, we will see you there! Committee's descriptions are below!  It is time to form the four committees that will implement the Main Street Four Point Approach that will revitalize and re-establish the Talladega Downtown District for the betterment of the entire community. The Four Committees where we need your participation are: 1. Organization: To establish a consensus and cooperation by building partnerships among the various groups that have a stake in the commercial district. 2. Design: Getting Talladega Main Street into top physical shape and creating a safe, inviting environment for shoppers, workers, and visitors. 3. Economic Vitality: Strengthens your community's existing economic assets while diversifying its economic base. This is accomplished by retaining and expanding successful businesses to provide a balanced commercial mix, sharpening the competitiveness and merchandising skills of business owners, and attracting new businesses that the market can support. 4. Promotion: This takes many forms, but the goal is to create a positive image that will rekindle community pride and improve consumer and investor confidence in your commercial district.
